When I think of a down to earth couple, the first one that springs to mind is Diana and Mike, and their wedding was a beautiful reflection of that.
Soft, elegant beach colours, mixed with lots of fun at the beautiful An Island Hideaway on South Stradbroke Island; this really was a ‘destination wedding’ packed with love!
The girls got ready in the bridal room on the island, where they shared some laughs and memories. Before the guests arrived we had the chance to grab some beautiful pre-wedding shots with the ladies in the beautiful gardens at An Island Hideaway.
Meanwhile the boys were calming their nerves with a beer or two on the boat ride over, while chatting to the guests.
As the guests poured into the chapel, the girls waited excitedly and a little nervously in the bridal room.
Of course, the moment beautiful Diana stepped out, she took Mikes breath away. In a floor length fish tale gown complete with lace and tulle, she truly was a picture perfect bride.
The bridesmaids looked beautiful by Diana’s side, is soft pink, complimented beautifully with their baby’s breathe bouquets.
After the ceremony and the ringing of the chapel bell, it was time for photo’s with the bridal party and the happy couple. The boys looked very handsome with their modern relaxed open shirts and taupe pants. With Mike sporting a vest to be sure not to be missed as the groom!
In true An Island Hideaway fashion, the reception followed on the same premises – a real treat for the guests!
Thank you for sharing your wedding day with us, we wish you both a happy and healthy life together as husband and wife!
